dudeyes01 asked: I am looking to buy a house in Kansas City, KS and was wondering if there was somewhere online I can view public records of the address of the house. I was told there was a site, but cannot seem to find it. I know somewhere there has to be a public records about any house. As far as past owners, current owners, disclosures, etc.

david6 asked: I close on a house purchase in about 2 weeks and want to keep the purchase price out of the county records. I know that there is a way to prevent the county from publishing this information in public records, but not sure about how to go about getting this done. Anyone have experience with this?

NotListening asked: I’m trying to access the public records for Los Angeles County, California. I know addresses and house sales are all public information, but I’m not sure where to find them. I’m used to them being in 1 downtown location, but I was wondering where these celebrity maps, paparazzi sites and the like get all of the celebrity addresses from? I’m assuming they are pulling from something online, which would be much more convenient for me, as well. I highly doubt they have someone going to a building somewhere and physically going through records.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Dilbert asked: Public records go on the parties’ credit reports. Do some parties tend to settle more easily just to avoid that, because settlements don’t go in public records? Or are there some settlements that do?

falon asked: I already know that the credit companies no longer report about it after 10 years but I wanted to know about the public records made by the court of law.
After 10 years, can credit card companies (or who else, do you know?) access the public records and not the credit report.
Also I heard that things like social security numbers attached to bankruptcy cases are made public in the public record is this true?
NO FUNNY COMMENTS ABOUT FINANCIAL MISHANDLING – I have had a string of bad luck (illness, taking care of family) and been therefore unable to handle it all.
Any helpful responses are appreciated.

Dez asked: I tried to find the public record data base, but there are so many scams out there that want to charge you to access public court records. I am not sure about Alabama, but in my state you can access this information online, anytime, free of charge.

brettsbaby6907 asked: Every site that you go to wants money. If they are public records for everyone to view, how can they charge for them. I would like to know if anyone has found a site that is actually free.
